I'm a happy-go-lucky person
and unlike most, money is not the driving force
behind my motivation. I've always had a passion for
art, and as a child geek prodigy, when I wasn't
drawing or painting, I was on my ZX Spectrum or
Commodore 64 making games, programs and blocky
pictures. This
continued throughout my young life and culminated in
me pursuing further education and gaining my
qualifications in business studies, Information
technology & graphic design/photography.
In 1998 I went on to work in
house for HSBC Investment banking, where I was
instrumental in designing & producing their first
intranet cash transfer system. I revolutionised
their cash transfer process and it was rolled out
firm wide. I then went on to work for many other
investment banks in the city of London, on a
temporary contract or freelance basis and provided
advice for intranet conception and web site
development during the early days of the world wide
web.
In 2006 I
started working for various design agencies on a
freelance basis,
but all the time I was itching to start up
a company of my own, a business internet
consultancy, was at the very top of my list. IAUK was born
in 2007 and I have loved every minute. I'm now
working hands on, with real people, using my
knowledge, skills and experience to create many
original websites and advertising
campaigns for small and large businesses alike.
This computer geek is
now in design heaven and very happy in his work...
